GREAT VIDEO EVOKES EMOTION

For most business owners, their business is their baby.  Sure they are running the business to make money, but to make it successful they need a certain passion and drive for whatever they do – whether they are baking bread or manufacturing widgets.  It is the passion, the belief that your product or service makes a difference that should be the focus of your video marketing.  Take Disney for example.  When you watch their commercials are they telling you that they have hundreds of rides that sit on thousands of acres, that there are restaurants around every corner and hotels close by?visit_disney  No sir.  Their commercials are about emotion and experience.  They tell you that your vacation is about making special memories…memories that last a lifetime.  It’s a special time with your “abuelas.”  It’s emotional.  Heck, I’m tearing up just writing about it.  They have convinced you that a trip to their park is an experience you will think about for years to come and if you don’t do it, well you will simply regret it for the rest of your life!  They are focusing on what most people believe is important in life – building memories with your family.  They are making an emotional connection with their audience.  That is great video marketing.  Simply put, video content that moves people sells.  And you don’t have to be Disney to make an emotional connection with your target audience.  A creative team with vision can unearth the poignant aspects associated with your business and turn it into superior video content.  Content that sells.
