What’s the Real Story? June 14, 2017

For years marketings gurus like Al Reis (“Marketing is a battle of perceptions, not products”) and Seth Godin (“Perception is reality”) have been telling marketers that the perception of their brand, product or service is paramount to its success. Shaping those perceptions is key and with the dawn of new marketing channels like social media platforms, video continues to be a powerful and influential tool.

Case in point: The City of Miami Gardens wanted to tell the real story and it’s vision for the future. They commissioned Digital Cut to produce a video to attract new business ventures and further economic development. Shaping the perception of a city too often associated with crime and negative news reports, required a shift in the narrative.

So our creative team went to work to hone the creative. We crafted an empowering script to promote Miami Garden’s positive attributes and progressive platform and supported it with strong images of the people, places and businesses that populate the city along with an epic music track. The result is a video that tells the story of a city of progress and opportunity. A city committed to investing in the future.

With a much more upbeat and inspiring narrative, city officials now have a powerful marketing tool to use at trade shows, conferences, presentations and more.

Video accounts for 74 percent of all online traffic and 55 percent of people worldwide watch video online every day. We’re ready to help you tell your real story. What are you waiting for?
