Overview

Produce an annual fundraising campaign video in four languages to engage Catholics across Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties to support the many ministries of the Catholic Church.

Challenge

Each year, the message and overall programs remain the same, so evolving the creative is essential to ensure the video continues to resonate with viewers and inspire generous giving. Additionally, the video must be produced in four languages so the creative must translate to those audiences as well.

Approach

Over the years, we have evolved the creative approach to broaden the campaign’s appeal and connect with every demographic across the diocese. Highlights have included a legacy-focused campaign featuring a music video with local talent singing excerpts of Here I Am, Lord in multiple languages, as well as a year in which we commissioned a local artist to create a mural portraying faith as a work of art. Throughout the video, viewers watched the mural come to life brushstroke by brushstroke, culminating in the reveal of the completed piece at the end. Most recently, we highlighted a cross-section of donors sharing their personal reasons for giving, inspiring others to reflect on their faith and share their blessings generously.

Results

While the campaign totals have increased each year, this year’s campaign raised $12.5 million in support of more than one million Catholics across 109 parishes and missions. Our long-standing partnership has given us the insight and understanding to craft messages grounded in meaningful storytelling—stories that inspire generosity, strengthen faith, and deepen the connection between the Church and its community.
