Transform your South Florida event into a powerful marketing tool. We create compelling event videos that resonate with your target audience. Serving Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and all of South Florida.
Digital Cut Productions produces event videos for corporate summits, nonprofit galas, conferences, and institutional events across South Florida and nationally. Based in Fort Lauderdale, we bring cinema-grade production to live events — capturing the energy, the story, and the moments that make your event worth sharing long after it ends.
Our event clients span a wide range of industries and formats. We produced the VOWS gala video for the Bob Woodruff Foundation, a national nonprofit supporting veterans and their families. We captured Velocity Solutions’ corporate summit as a dynamic recap built for internal communications and marketing. We’ve produced conference openers for SCP and educational event coverage for the University of Florida’s Lastinger Center — content that extended the reach of each event well beyond the room.
Event videography requires a production team that can work quickly, adapt to live conditions, and still deliver broadcast-quality footage. Our crew is scaled to match the event — from a lean multi-camera setup for conferences and panels to larger productions for galas, award shows, and multi-day summits. We handle all pre-production logistics, including advance site visits, audio coordination, and shot planning, so nothing is left to chance on event day.
In post-production, we edit event footage into polished recap videos, highlight reels, and long-form documentation — optimized for websites, social media, internal distribution, and future fundraising or marketing campaigns. If your event includes speaker sessions, we can also deliver individual presentation cuts for each speaker.
If you have an event coming up in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, or anywhere in South Florida, we’d like to be there.
When the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF) held its 10th annual Jockeys and Jeans fundraiser at Gulfstream Park in January 2025, it brought together one of the most remarkable gatherings of Hall of Fame jockeys in recent memory. 1/ST — the Stronach Group’s racing and entertainment brand that operates Gulfstream — recognized the moment immediately. With the Preakness Stakes on the horizon and legends like Pat Day, Jerry Bailey, Steve Cauthen, Edgar Prado, Javier Castellano, Ramon Dominguez, Jose Santos, and Jorge Velazquez all under one roof, they called Digital Cut Productions.
The assignment: capture the history in the room and turn it into a media package that would generate enhanced press interest in the Preakness.
Digital Cut produced nine videos in total — eight individual profile pieces, one for each jockey, and a mashup piece featuring several of the riders along with Jeff Zito, focused squarely on what makes the Preakness special. Each profile let the jockeys tell their own stories: the thrill of a Triple Crown race, the weight of coming in off a Kentucky Derby win knowing the world was watching, the energy of the Pimlico infield. Historical Preakness footage was woven throughout, giving the pieces the depth and context that only archival material can provide.
Production was a two-camera RED Cinema setup — main camera locked down, B-cam on a slider — with the Gulfstream race track serving as the backdrop for every interview. The environment did half the work. Getting eight Hall of Fame jockeys on camera in a single day, each with their own piece, required precise scheduling and an efficient set that didn’t waste their time or lose the energy of the event happening around them.
The finished package served as an EPK — electronic press kit — delivered to media outlets to build anticipation for the Preakness. For 1/ST and Gulfstream, it was a smart use of an opportunity that only existed for one day. For the jockeys, it was a chance to share stories from careers that defined American thoroughbred racing.
