Tampa General Hospital sought to expand its patient base into Palm Beach County — a competitive market where prospective patients default to local care providers for major procedures including orthopedic surgery, cancer treatment, and organ transplants. The goal was to make a compelling, emotionally resonant case for choosing Tampa General over closer alternatives, told not through institutional messaging but through the voices of real Palm Beach County patients who had made that choice.
Digital Cut Productions developed a 12-part testimonial series under Tampa General’s Palm Beach Social Campaign, featuring patients who traveled from Palm Beach County to receive care at Tampa General. Each video is produced as a two-camera interview shoot using RED Cinema cameras, with a dedicated audio technician and full lighting setup to achieve broadcast quality in real-world environments. One of the series’ most powerful entries follows Chet, a liver transplant recipient from Palm Beach Gardens who credits Tampa General with saving his life — documented through a two-camera RED Cinema interview at his home and observational footage of his daily life after recovery.
The Palm Beach Social Campaign has driven measurable engagement for Tampa General’s outreach initiative, with the client reporting strong audience response to the patient-centered storytelling approach. The series is now in its second phase, with six additional patient testimonials in production in 2026 — a direct reflection of Tampa General’s confidence in the campaign’s effectiveness and Digital Cut Productions’ continued role as their video production partner.
Broward Health approached Digital Cut Productions to produce a television commercial campaign for The Maternity Place, their flagship maternity center serving South Florida families. The strategic goal was brand awareness at the earliest stage of the family journey — reaching expectant parents and young families to establish Broward Health as their trusted healthcare provider for life. The campaign targeted the Miami and Fort Lauderdale television market across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.
“A Touch of Extraordinary” is the second commercial DCP produced for Broward Health’s Maternity Place campaign, building on the success of the first spot already featured in the portfolio above. Written and developed to resonate with South Florida’s diverse family audience, the spot was produced in both English and Spanish. The commercial features a young family navigating the anticipation of a second child — anchored by a five-year-old boy’s innocent questions about his baby sister on the way — and weaves in the emotional through-line of Broward Health’s NICU care, positioning The Maternity Place as a provider families trust across generations.
Production took place on location in a rented South Florida home to achieve the authentic domestic warmth the script required. Director Xavier Thomaselli led the creative execution with John Oliva serving as Director of Photography and editor, Steve Miller and Ethan Elalouf as cinematographers, and Lauri Oliva producing and coordinating. The cast was selected collaboratively with the client to reflect the diversity of the South Florida community the campaign was designed to reach.
The commercial drove measurable engagement increases for Broward Health’s Maternity Place, with the client reporting a positive response to the campaign.
