What types of videos do you produce?
Digital Cut Productions is an Emmy and Telly award-winning video production company headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We produce corporate brand videos, TV and digital commercials, healthcare video, motion graphics, industrial videos, event recaps, social media content, and documentary-style profiles — for clients including Neiman Marcus, Broward Health, Tampa General Hospital, Nuveen, and the Archdiocese of Miami.
How much does video production cost?
Every project is different, so we provide customized quotes after a brief discovery conversation. Most of our corporate and commercial projects range from $5,000 to $50,000+, depending on scope, crew size, and post-production requirements. Contact us for a project-specific quote.
How long does it take to produce a video?
Social media content can be delivered within 7–12 business days. Corporate brand videos, TV commercials, and healthcare profiles average 4–8 weeks from concept through final delivery. Projects requiring extensive pre-production — casting, location scouting, scripting — may run longer. Our team manages every phase in-house, keeping projects on schedule regardless of where production takes us.
Do you offer scriptwriting and creative development?
Yes — creative development is where every project begins. Our in-house writer Allison Marentette leads scripting and storyboarding. This full-service approach is one reason clients like Broward Health, the Archdiocese of Miami, and the Bob Woodruff Foundation return to us for multiple projects. If you have an existing concept, we can refine it. If you’re starting from scratch, we’ll build the strategy from the ground up.
Can you work with an existing concept or script?
Absolutely. Many clients come to us with a creative brief, script, or clear vision already in place. Our role is to execute it at the highest possible level — bringing production expertise, cinematography, and post-production craft to your existing concept. We’re equally comfortable building from scratch or collaborating on what you’ve already developed.
How involved will I be in the creative process?
As involved as you want to be. We align on goals and creative direction before a single camera rolls. In post-production, we use Frame.io for client review — timestamped comments directly on the cut, no lengthy email chains. This works especially well for clients needing multiple approval layers, like our work with Tampa General Hospital and Broward Health.
Do you scout locations and provide casting?
Yes. Talent casting, location scouting, and all pre-production logistics are managed by our team. Based in Fort Lauderdale, we have deep knowledge of filming locations across South Florida. Our reach extends nationally — for the Genovation GXE world record shoot, we coordinated a multi-camera production at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida.
What equipment do you use?
We shoot on RED Cinema and Sony FX Series cameras with professional lighting, audio from Rode and Sennheiser, and DJI drone systems. Our director and cinematographer team brings these systems to every production. In post, we use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, and Autodesk Maya — meeting broadcast standards for clients like Broward Health airing on major cable networks.
Do you provide drone footage?
Yes. Aerial videography is a core part of our capabilities. Our FAA-certified pilots obtain all required clearances prior to every shoot. We’ve captured aerial footage across South Florida and nationally for corporate, real estate, industrial, and event productions — available as a standalone service or integrated into a full production package.
How many crew members will be on set?
Crew size is scaled to the production. A lean crew includes a director/producer, director of photography, audio tech, and PA — ideal for corporate interviews and brand videos. Larger productions add talent wranglers, hair and makeup, prop masters, and grip/electric crews. We right-size every crew to balance quality with budget efficiency.
What is included in post-production?
Our in-house post covers video editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics — all under one roof. Animator Dave Gau handles complex motion work in Cinema 4D and Autodesk Maya. We deliver broadcast-quality finishing for every project, with all client review managed through Frame.io.
How many rounds of revisions do you offer?
We include two rounds of revisions. In practice, because we align on creative direction before editing begins, most projects are resolved in one or two rounds. Our pre-production process is designed to surface decisions early — before they become expensive edits.
Can I provide feedback during editing?
Yes. We use Frame.io for all client review — timestamped comments directly on the video cut, no vague email feedback. You’ll have visibility into the edit at key milestones and a clear way to communicate changes before we lock the final cut.
Do you help with video distribution?
We deliver optimized files for every platform — social media, websites, broadcast, trade shows, and internal communications. For full-scale distribution strategy, we collaborate with trusted agency partners. Clients like O’Connell & Goldberg and RBB Communications work with us as their production partner and handle distribution through their own channels.
What video formats do you deliver?
We deliver in all industry-standard formats — MP4, MOV, ProRes, and broadcast-spec files — tailored to your distribution platform, whether that’s compressed social media files, high-resolution broadcast masters, or multiple aspect ratios for omnichannel campaigns.
Who owns the final video?
Upon final payment, full ownership transfers to you. You have unlimited rights to use, distribute, and repurpose the content across any platform or channel. This is standard for all Digital Cut Productions projects.
Do you offer ongoing content creation packages?
Yes. We offer retainer packages for brands needing a consistent cadence of video content — monthly social media, quarterly brand updates, or ongoing campaign series. Retainer relationships reduce per-project setup time and allow us to develop a deep understanding of your brand over time.
Can you repurpose existing footage for new content?
Absolutely. Re-editing existing footage is one of the most cost-effective ways to extend your video investment. We can transform raw footage, previous edits, or archival material into fresh content optimized for new platforms, campaigns, or audiences.
Do you offer closed captions and translations?
Yes. We provide closed captioning and voiceover and translation services to ensure your content reaches the widest possible audience — particularly valuable for healthcare clients communicating with multilingual patient populations and national brands distributing across diverse markets.
